On 30 May 2012, HKCS EA SIG and AEA-HK co-organized a experience sharing event on the topic of “SOA Governance for the eHR Project”. It was our pleasure to have speaker, Clara, Senior System Manager at Hospital Authority to give the speech and share the SOA practical experience on their eHR project. She has highligted the design and runtime SOA governance in the project and also shared the vaulable tips on implementing SOA. AEA-HK and HKCS co-organized an event on the topic of “Experience Sharing on the SOA Governance for the eHR Project” on 30 Apr 2012.
Ms Clara Cheung, Senior Systems Manager of the Hospital Authority (HA), will share with the audience their experience on applying Service Oriented Architecture Governance (SOAG) in HA, particularly in the Electronic Health Record (eHR) project. She will talk about the journey of adopting SOA in HA, introduce the eHR project, and explain the principles and objectives of SOA Governance. She will discuss the SOAG workflow, repository, tools and libraries for maintaining robust and secure Web services in design-time and run-time. Lastly, she will discuss the key success factors for SOA to deliver business benefits.

On 3 Apr 2012, AEA-HK and Deloitte co-organized a speaker event on the topic of “Realizing the Business Value of Enterprise Architecture”. It was our pleasure to have speaker, Richard Suslick, Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting to give the speech and share EA practical experience. He has highligted the value of EA and EA assessment. The event was great success and we had over 20 people registered to the event. Hope we can put EA from awareness into adoption in HK.

I could see most audience had learnt a lot about EA from the speaker, Judith Jones (Architecting the Enterprise CEO). Hope it can raise the EA awareness in the community.
